About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales in various service areas, including SEMI, ITE, consumer goods, machinery, lighting, and laboratory.

Main responsibilities

  1. Actively work with the Regional Manager and Account Executives to manage and grow sales.
  2. Develop structured sales strategies for applicable regions and customers.
  3. Conduct interactions for potential sales opportunities, identification of valid leads, follow-up, and coordination with sales management.
  4. Meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership.
  5. Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
  6. Present products to prospective clients.
  7. Work with Account Executives and Regional Business Line Managers to manage a specific book of business to help attainment of goals and quotas.
  8. Conduct cold calls of potential sales opportunities, identification of valid leads, follow-up, and coordination with Account Executives and sales management.
  9. Provide professional after-sales support to enhance customers' dedication.
  10. Manage the sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
  11. Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data in CRM.

Requirements

  1. Communicate in an articulate, professional, courteous, and effective manner with internal and external customers.
  2. Demonstrated ability in managing phone, email, and web site inquiries.
  3. Self-starter with a positive outlook and motivated attitude.
  4. Customer service-oriented.
  5. Familiarity with CRM systems.
  6. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  8. Ability to multi-task and handle deadlines.
  9. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  10. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  11. Proven experience in a sales role.
  12. Experience in product safety compliance services preferred.
  13. Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
  14. Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  15. Organizational and time management skills.
  16. Enthusiastic and passionate.
