Safeguarding Specialist

Exeter College is seeking an experienced and talented Safeguarding Officer to join our outstanding safeguarding team within the Student Services Department.
As a key support role, the Safeguarding Officer will report directly to the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and work closely with Faculty Management Groups, Tutorial Area Managers, Personal Tutors, and Resilience Officers to ensure effective management of safeguarding in line with regulatory and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

\tManage and coordinate safeguarding initiatives and activities
\u2022
\tCollaborate with colleagues to identify and mitigate safeguarding risks
\u2022
\tDevelop and maintain safeguarding policies and procedures
\u2022
\tProvide training and support to staff and students on safeguarding matters
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices, as well as experience working in a similar role.
