We are seeking an experienced safeguarding nurse to join our multi-disciplinary paediatric and adult service teams at our centre of excellence in Exeter. As a safeguarding specialist, you will provide highly specialised advice and support on safeguarding issues, relating to Child Sexual Abuse, Sexual Violence and Domestic Abuse/ Interpersonal Violence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safeguarding advice and support to all staff within the SARC and wider organisation.
- Represent SARC at Strategy Meetings where CSA or Sexual Violence are considered.
- Assist the SARC, Trust and staff in their duty to protect children and adults from harm and abuse.
- Deputise the Lead Nurse/Safeguarding Lead in her absence for SARC safeguarding issues.
