About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Store Manager to join our team at GAME. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales and visual merchandising professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Inspire and motivate your team to achieve sales and customer service targets
    • Develop and implement effective sales and visual merchandising strategies to drive business growth
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Sales and Operations
    • Lead the team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations
    • Manage store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners
  • Visual Merchandising
    • Design and implement visually appealing store displays and window displays
    • Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards are consistently high
    • Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to develop and implement visual merchandising strategies
  • Development and Training
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to support their career development
    • Identify and address any skills gaps within the team

Requirements

  • Proven retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to analyze sales data and implement effective sales strategies
  • Strong visual merchandising skills, with the ability to design and implement visually appealing store displays
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the visual merchandising team to develop and implement visual merchandising strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address any issues that may arise
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
