Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate who wants to upskill and develop within the HSEQ sector. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an administration capacity in a construction environment, knowledge of relevant construction health and safety legislation, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Management: Assist in the preparation and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and monitor site compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices, assist in developing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), and participate in internal audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Support the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, assist in compiling reports, identifying root causes, and recommending preventative measures.
  • Safety Training and Awareness: Assist in delivering toolbox talks and safety training sessions, help promote a culture of safety by providing guidance and resources to employees, and maintain accurate health and safety records.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within an administration capacity in a construction environment
  • Knowledge of relevant construction health and safety legislation
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of £23,000 - £26,000 depending on experience, full support regarding training and qualifications, and the opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
