About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SENCO to lead our SEN department, working closely with teaching staff to develop and implement SEN strategies that promote inclusive education. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN legislation and be passionate about creating a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. SEN Department Leadership:
    Lead the SEN department, providing strategic direction and coordinating with senior leadership to develop and implement SEN policies.
  2. Student Support and Guidance:
    Assess and meet individual student needs, developing and implementing IEPs tailored to each student's requirements.
  3. Teaching Staff Support:
    Deliver training and support to teaching staff on SEN strategies and best practices, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices
  • Passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting all students
Salary and Benefits

A competitive salary range of £38,766 - £60,092 per annum, plus opportunities for professional development and career progression.
