We are seeking an extremely passionate and dedicated individual to join our vibrant team as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator in Southwark, starting January 2025. As a seasoned professional, you will lead the way in creating an inclusive learning environment that truly supports students with diverse needs.
About the Role:
Focal Points of Responsibility:
- Manage the provision for students with Special Educational Needs ensuring they receive optimal support
- Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt the curriculum and provide targeted interventions for students with SEN
- Lead assessments and develop tailored support plans
- Maintain a positive and inclusive school culture fostering teamwork and understanding
- Engage with external agencies to further enhance student outcomes
- Provide leadership guidance and development opportunities to the SEN team
About You:
You Will Thrive If:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) and SENCO qualification
Proven track record working with students with Special Educational Needs
Excellent leadership skills accompanied by exceptional organisational abilities
