Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the school's SEN provision, ensuring compliance with SEND regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to provide high-quality support for students with SEN.
  • Assess student needs, develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes and attainment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS and/or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • A recognised qualification in SEN, such as NASENCo or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in leading SEN provision in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
