National Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to join our team at Butlin's. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across our three resorts and leading the sales strategy for conferences, meetings, and events.
Your primary objective will be to develop and implement a national sales strategy to increase revenue for conference and event services across the three resorts. This will involve identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, agencies, and other key stakeholders.
You will work closely with our marketing team to create campaigns that attract event organisers and corporate clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a national sales strategy to increase revenue for conference and event services
- Identifying new business opportunities and markets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, agencies, and other key stakeholders
- Working closely with the marketing team to create campaigns that attract event organisers and corporate clients
- Collaborating with operational teams to ensure the seamless execution of sold events
- Managing contracts, invoicing, and other administrative tasks
- Monitoring and analysing sales performance data to adjust strategies as necessary to meet revenue goals
About You
We are looking for a National Sales Manager with previous experience of working within the events, hospitality, or similar industry. You should have a strong background of meeting and exceeding sales targets, whilst also being able to keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging activities within the conference and events industry.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. This role requires regular travel, including to our Hemel Head Office, hosting Resort tours, visiting agency partners, attending industry events, and visiting clients both nationally and locally.
