Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) - Band 6

Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients presenting in mental health crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to junior staff and direct their workload and interventions with patients.
  • Work in partnership with the Psychiatric Liaison Team to facilitate patients' admission to secondary care services or discharge with community support.
  • Develop and implement simple and early psychosocial interventions to support patients' recovery.
  • Collaborate with the ED Nurse in Charge to oversee admissions to the unit from the main A&E department.
