Job Description: HR Administrator - Global Shared Services

As an HR Administrator in our Global Shared Services team, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the efficient delivery of HR services to employees across the globe. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying opportunities for improving HR administration processes through collaboration with the wider HR and operational teams;
  • Managing UK employee lifecycle process documentation, adhering to legislation and aligning with requirements for loading to Oracle Fusion (our global HRIS);
  • Serving as the first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR-related topics;
  • Implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery;
  • Managing the HR Shared Services inbox daily and ensuring timely responses to employee inquiries;

In this role, you will also be responsible for drafting and delivering policy, benefits, and procedural messaging to employees, as well as delivering Dechra HR information sessions to new employees during their first weeks of employment. Additionally, you will ensure the security matrix and access for the global HR team regarding global employee records is maintained up-to-date and in adherence to data protection legislation.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess advanced Excel skills, with the ability to process and analyze data quickly and effectively. You should also have excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills. A solid understanding of MS Office is essential, as well as the ability to manage your workload, meet deadlines, and remain focused on long-term deliverables.

A strong customer service orientation and the ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders internal and external to Dechra are also crucial. Furthermore, you should be able to ensure remote teams remain on track to achieving tight deadlines and key milestones.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is between £25,000 and £35,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
