About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity within TalkTalk for an entrepreneurial, commercial leader to define, implement and execute TalkTalk's commercial growth strategy.

You will have accountability for supplier and partner relationships, core commercial functions, customer lifecycle management, forecasting and planning.

Reporting to the Chief Financial and Commercial Officer for TalkTalk, the Commercial Director will own the commercial strategy, execute and influence through strong relationships both internally, to board level, and externally with our partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be data-driven and financially literate.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and partners to optimize the overall commercial position for TalkTalk.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive planning framework to drive business growth and revenue optimization.
  • Lead a team to identify value-creative opportunities for TalkTalk and partners, negotiate and deploy.
  • Support the business with ongoing consultation on commercial agreements and contracts.
Team Collaboration

Supply and Partnerships:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to drive business growth and revenue optimization.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements to optimize the overall commercial position for TalkTalk.
  • Identify value-creative opportunities for TalkTalk and partners, negotiate and deploy.

Core Commercial:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive planning framework to drive business growth and revenue optimization.
  • Lead a team to identify and prioritize business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue optimization.

Customer Lifecycle Management:

  • Develop and implement a customer lifecycle management strategy to drive business growth and revenue optimization.
  • Lead a team to identify and prioritize customer segments and develop strategies to drive growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive business growth and revenue optimization.

Forecasting & Planning:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed forecasts to drive business growth and revenue optimization.
  • Lead a team to develop and implement a comprehensive planning framework to drive business growth and revenue optimization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue optimization.
Requirements
  • We're seeking a high-calibre individual with strong commercial acumen and negotiation ability, and excellent analytical and numeracy skills to support solid commercial decision-making for TalkTalk.
  • Experience in data-led, digital approach to customer value creation or customer lifetime management is desirable.
