Operations Team Leader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to lead our warehouse teams and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity across our departments and warehouses. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning and resourcing the warehouse operation, supervising Warehouse Operatives, and ensuring a high level of health and safety, compliance with company policy, and transport legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and resource the warehouse operation to ensure pack accuracy and efficient management of products
  • Supervise Warehouse Operatives, providing training, coaching, and working with Management teams to identify training needs and potential risks
  • Ensure a high level of health and safety, compliance with company policy, and transport legislation

About You

We are looking for an experienced Operations Team Leader with a track record in warehouse management or people management experience gained in other sectors. You will ideally have:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, preferably from a 24/7 logistics, warehouse, FMCG, or similar industry background
  • Experience managing a large operation and the ability to liaise at all levels
  • Outstanding communication skills and the credibility to effectively build relationships with all team members and management
  • Experience of planning and effectively executing a warehouse operation, dealing with all issues and challenges as they arise
