About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to join our team at Smiths News. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and resource warehouse operations to ensure pack accuracy and efficient management of products
  • Supervise Warehouse Operatives, providing training, coaching, and working with management teams to identify training needs and potential risks
  • Ensure high levels of health and safety, compliance with company policy, and transport legislation are adhered to at all times

About You:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a 24/7 logistics, warehouse, or FMCG industry background
  • Experience managing a large operation and ability to liaise at all levels
  • Outstanding communication skills and credibility to build relationships with team members and management
