Job Overview

King's College Hospital is seeking an experienced Pathway Support Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical administrative support to clinicians, ensuring the timely and effective coordination of patient care.

Salary: £31,944 - £34,937 per annum pro rata incl HCA

Key Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to clinicians, including data entry and document management.
  • Liaise with patients, families, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate information exchange and coordination of care.
  • Monitor patient pathways, identifying potential delays and ensuring adherence to Trust policies.
  • Train and support new staff members in administrative procedures and protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Foundation Degree or NVQ Level 3 equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Previous NHS experience in medical secretarial or pathway coordination.
  • Certification in infection control and health and safety.
