Project Overview

The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to work on a collaborative project jointly supervised by Prof Ravi Gupta and Dr. Daniele Corridoni at AstraZeneca. The project aims to investigate the role of macrophages in cancer and inflammatory diseases, with a focus on understanding the biology behind heterogeneity in macrophage phenotypes.

Research Objectives

  • To investigate the impact of cell cycle transitions on macrophage biology
  • To explore the therapeutic potential of new insights into macrophage biology
  • To deploy a range of techniques to address the link between cell cycle regulation, tumourigenesis and inflammation

Requirements
