Sustainable Land Management Director

As a key member of the Forestry and Land Scotland team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our forests and land. The Planning & Environment Team works closely with specialists to design and develop sustainable land management strategies that meet place-specific objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will lead on planning our land to meet environmental objectives, programming and organizing work, and facilitating our environmental goals. As a senior manager, you will provide environmental expertise to inform land management planning and programming of future works.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need strong experience in team management, stakeholder engagement, and forest management or conservation. Familiarity with UK Forest Standard or other environmental regulatory frameworks is essential.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
