Role Overview

The Royal Yacht Britannia Trust is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Director to lead our efforts in reducing our environmental footprint. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that minimize our impact on the environment.

About the Role

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £38,200 per annum, paid 5 days a week with occasional weekend work. You will be based at our Edinburgh location.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental management systems throughout the organization.
  • Own the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) roadmap and report back to the management team on progress via regular updates.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate and a willingness to work towards a Diploma in Health & Safety Management.
  • Experience in health and safety management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
  • A passion for sustainability and a commitment to minimizing our environmental impact.
