Forestry and Land Strategy Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Forestry and Land Strategy Manager to join our team at Forestry and Land Scotland. In this role, you will lead on developing and implementing sustainable land management strategies that meet environmental objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have responsibility for:
- Developing and implementing sustainable land management strategies;
- Providing environmental expertise to inform land management planning and programming of future works;
- Leading on environmental work and providing leadership and direction to teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need strong experience in team management, stakeholder engagement, and forest management or conservation. Familiarity with UK Forest Standard or other environmental regulatory frameworks is essential.
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
