Estee Lauder - Account Manager / Counter Leader - Pearl Chemist - 30 Hours

Job Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales turnover and market share through consumer-focused strategies. Key responsibilities include:

Sales and Service:

  • Understand daily/weekly targets and ensure personal awareness of additional sales avenues.
  • Keep up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities.
  • Effectively leverage social media to drive business and protect the Brand image.
  • Deliver the Brand Strategy, ensuring a local plan is in place.
  • Plan and implement local marketing & events initiatives, aligned to Retailer activity.
  • Deliver excellence in execution of service, creating a zero consumer complaints mind-set and a surprise and delight culture.
  • Be an Ambassador for the Brand, representing values and bringing them to life.
  • Manage refunds and complaints in line with Company guidelines.
  • Use digital tools to ensure knowledge is kept up to date.
  • Develop a consumer recruitment and retention strategy to grow a loyal consumer base.

Operations:

  • Plan to ensure excellent standards are maintained at all times.
  • Review retail standards daily, ensuring they meet the required standard.
  • Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and administration are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Implement auditable processes and administration according to Company guidelines.
  • Minimise stock loss by following Company Security Policies and Procedures.
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment for consumers.

Commerciality:

  • Manage daily replenishment, taking appropriate action where necessary.
  • Maximise sales performance by utilising commercial reports.
  • Plan and deliver visual merchandising layout, ensuring it is completed to guidelines.
  • Identify stock package issues and take corrective action.
  • Effectively manage promotions and discounts, ensuring they are actioned in line with Company guidelines.
  • Identify trends and make suggestions to enhance product performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment.
  • Ability to drive self-development.
  • Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry.
  • Effective communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
