Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales turnover and market share through a consumer-focused approach. Key responsibilities include maintaining a professional brand image, maximizing sales through excellent service and retail standards, and contributing to operational efficiencies.

Sales and Service
  1. Understand daily and weekly targets to drive sales performance.
  2. Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and identify missed opportunities.
  3. Effectively utilize social media to drive business growth and protect the brand image.
  4. Deliver the brand strategy, ensuring a local plan is executed effectively.
  5. Plan and implement local marketing and events initiatives aligned with retailer activity.
  6. Deliver exceptional service by implementing measures to continually improve service levels and create a zero-complaint culture.
  7. Represent the brand as an ambassador, ensuring brand values are represented and brought to life.
  8. Manage refunds and complaints in line with company guidelines.
  9. Stay up-to-date with digital tools to ensure knowledge is current.
  10. Develop a consumer recruitment and retention strategy to grow a loyal consumer base.
Operations
  1. Ensure excellent standards are maintained at all times, including product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing.
  2. Review retail standards daily to ensure they meet required standards.
  3. Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and administration are completed within agreed timeframes.
  4. Implement auditable processes and administration in line with company guidelines.
  5. Respond to information requests accurately and within deadlines.
  6. Minimize stock loss by implementing company security policies and procedures.
  7. Create and maintain a safe working environment for consumers.
  8. Ensure health and safety responsibilities and operational activities achieve a minimum overall grading of 'Acceptable' during audits.
Commerciality
  1. Manage daily replenishment, taking action as necessary.
  2. Maximize sales performance by utilizing commercial reports before making decisions.
  3. Plan and deliver visual merchandising layouts, ensuring they meet guidelines and timescales.
  4. Identify stock package issues and take corrective action.
  5. Effectively manage promotions and discounts in line with company guidelines.
  6. Identify trends and suggest enhancements to product performance.
Qualifications

Essential qualifications include:

  1. Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment.
  2. Ability to drive self-development.
  3. Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry.
  4. Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
