Job Title: HR Business Partner

Yorkshire Water is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our People Team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting business change programs and driving employee engagement.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled HR professional with a strong background in change management and organizational development. The successful candidate will have experience in leading and designing organizational changes on major programs and projects. You will be responsible for managing the people change approach, working with Business Change Leads to prepare business readiness plans, and ensuring comprehensive project plans are in place to control and track successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the people change approach to maximize employee engagement and drive faster adoption of cultural and behavioral reforms.
  • Work with Business Change Leads to prepare business readiness plans, fully understanding the people impact and approaches to mitigate risks and issues.
  • Ensure comprehensive project plans and associated documents are in place to control and track successful delivery against milestones and priorities.
  • Play a key role in resolving strategic, scope, planning, or resource issues, and escalating options and providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Consult directly with Trade Union representatives and other stakeholders to inform the design and delivery of the project.
Requirements:
  • Deep professional HR and change management expertise, knowledge, and experience in leading, designing, and implementing organizational changes on major programs and projects.
  • Experience navigating ambiguous requirements, adapting to changing circumstances, and remaining calm in adverse situations while maintaining performance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of establishing and building strong, collaborative, and productive relationships across organizational boundaries.
  • Good commercial acumen, able to develop and manage complex business cases.
  • A qualification in change management practices would be advantageous but not essential.
