HR Advisor Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support the Head of HR and the HR team at Nano Fibre UK, a leading company in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on HR practices and procedures, ensuring clear and effective support.
  • Manage complex cases such as performance and absence management, disciplinary and grievance, with a focus on resolution and employee well-being.
  • Support the Head of HR and act as lead advisor for case management, providing strategic guidance and direction.
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance and support the company strategy, with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
  • Support line managers in building confidence and competence in dealing with people-related challenges, through coaching and development.
  • Collaborate with the training team to identify training needs, design development plans, and monitor the impact of HR initiatives.
  • Contribute to HR programs such as talent management, succession and people planning, retention, compensation and benefits, with a focus on business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working within a generalist HR team, with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Excellent Employment Law understanding in the UK, with hands-on experience of running complex cases.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to achieve business outcomes.
  • Lead first line managers in assessment and diagnosis, turning problem-solving into action.
  • CIPD Level 5 minimum or equivalent, with significant employment case experience supporting and coaching line managers.
  • Experience of developing policies and processes in an employment context, with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
  • Some experience of business partnering to first line managers, with a focus on building relationships and driving business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of UK employment law and evidence of how it has been applied in a commercial context.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to manage Excel and data analytics, with a focus on business outcomes.
