Job Summary:

Harrison Scott Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Plant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our client's production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of their manufacturing plant, with a focus on ink production and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Management:
    1. Oversee the daily production process, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
    2. Manage the production team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Ink Production and Management:
    1. Ensure that all ink production processes are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    2. Manage the inventory of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  3. Quality Control:
    1. Implement and maintain a quality control system to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
    2. Conduct regular quality checks to identify and address any issues.
  4. Health and Safety:
    1. Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that the workplace is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
    2. Identify and report any potential hazards or risks to management.
  5. Technical Support:
    1. Provide technical support to the production team, including training and guidance on new equipment and processes.
    2. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:
    1. Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, including metrics on quality, productivity, and efficiency.
    2. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize production processes.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as manufacturing, engineering, or business.
  2. Experience:
    1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or production management role.
    2. Proven track record of improving production efficiency and quality.
  3. Skills and Abilities:
    1. Strong leadership and communication skills.
    2. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
