Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Scientist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Biochemistry section, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality diagnostic service to patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out laboratory analyses, including reporting results and maintaining accurate records.
  • Participate in the departmental shift system roster, providing 24/7 diagnostic service cover.
  • Develop and implement new laboratory techniques and technologies to improve service delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a quality-driven and cost-effective service.
  • Contribute to the development of new methods and the implementation of new technology.

  • HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist
  • IBMS Accredited Biomedical Science Degree
  • 12 months UK-based laboratory experience
  • Keyboard skills and computer literacy
