Job Title: Biomedical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Scientist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in providing a high-quality diagnostic service to patients, working closely with our clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely results.

About the Role:
  • Carry out laboratory analyses, including reporting results and maintaining accurate records.
  • Participate in the department's shift system roster, providing 24/7 diagnostic service cover.
  • Develop and implement new methods and technologies to improve laboratory services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a quality-driven and cost-effective service.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
  • IBMS-accredited Biomedical Science degree.
  • 12 months' UK-based laboratory experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and participate in out-of-hours rosters.
