EDEX is seeking a highly skilled SEN Wellbeing Support Specialist to work in a thriving Secondary School in Croydon.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including ASD, ADHD, SpLD, and Global Development Delay.

This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for those looking to gain further experience working with children and develop their skills in education, child psychology, pastoral care, support work, mental health, and youth work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students' wellbeing and mental health through individualised support plans.
  • Assist class teachers in delivering materials in the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A graduate with strong academic credentials.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (£105 - £110 per day), depending on experience.
