About the Role

The East Kent Community Children's Nursing Team is a dynamic team that provides care to children with short-term illnesses, long-term disabilities, and chronic health conditions. As a Community Children's Nurse, you will be part of this team, working in various settings, including homes, educational establishments, and clinics throughout East Kent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing care under the direction of the Team Leader and Community Nurse Specialists to children in various settings.
  • Working autonomously and as part of a team to deliver high-quality nursing care.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that meet the unique needs of each child and their family.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (Child Branch) or RSCN with relevant post-registration training and qualifications.
  • At least 2-3 years post-registration clinical experience working with children and their families.
