Job Overview

Home Instead, a leading provider of home care services, seeks a skilled Community Engagement and Marketing Specialist to join our team. This part-time role will focus on developing and implementing community and marketing initiatives aligned with our mission and values.

About the Role

  • We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships within the local community, leveraging their network to achieve business objectives.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in marketing principles, including managing digital media platforms and campaigns.
  • A good working knowledge of IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office or Google Suite, is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, use initiative, and be resilient in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement community and marketing initiatives aligned with Home Instead's mission and values.
  2. Become familiar with the Home Instead brand, raise awareness of national office marketing campaigns, and recruitment initiatives across the network of relationships built in the local community.
  3. Continually track and record enquiries, using data to manage and adjust strategy to optimize messaging and education in the community.
  4. Manage own time effectively, prioritizing critical tasks and adapting to changing business needs.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven track record in building strong relationships both face-to-face and virtually within a local community.
  • Confident in networking face-to-face, by phone, email, and video call with community stakeholders and potential RPNs.
  • Experience in delivering talks on key ageing subjects such as Dementia, Fraud Prevention, Nutrition & Hydration, etc.
  • Good understanding of marketing principles, including managing digital media platforms and campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, use initiative, and be resilient.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time role requiring 22.5 hours per week. The salary for this position is approximately £14,500 per annum, based on the requirements of the job and the location.
