Trade Quality Assurance Specialist

Shepherd Neame is seeking a dedicated Trade Quality Assurance Specialist to guarantee that every beer poured and presented to our customers meets the highest standards in our Tied and Retail Houses.

As a Quality Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimising beer handling, storage, and presentation processes, enhancing the customer experience while reducing operational costs.

You will work closely with our TQS Technicians and Beer Trainer to drive continuous improvement in the physical quality of our beers, ensuring our brand remains synonymous with excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing annual Beer Quality Audits with General Managers, Tenants, and Licensees
  • Analysing quality assurance data and identifying areas for improvement
  • Ensuring safe working practices and compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Training staff in cellar safety, standards, and equipment usage
  • Assisting in the evaluation of new products and dispense equipment

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of brewing process
  • Beer dispense equipment, NCCSIM Standard or similar
  • Strong organisational skills and analytical approach
  • Conscientious professional with a strong commitment to safety and service
  • Friendly and approachable with effective communication skills
