Trade Quality Assurance Specialist

Role Overview:
Shepherd Neame is seeking a dedicated Trade Quality Auditor to guarantee that every beer poured and presented to our customers meets the highest standards in our Tied and Retail Houses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with General Managers, Tenants, and Licensees to complete annual Beer Quality Audits
- Analyse quality assurance data and identify areas for improvement
- Advise on installations and usage of beer dispense equipment
- Organise and implement quality improvement projects
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Train staff in basic cellar safety and beer quality standards
- Assist in the evaluation of new products and dispense equipment
- Attend Manager or Tenant change overs and provide a satisfactory handover of equipment and operations
- Inspect glasses and record glass washing machines and chemicals
- Investigate trade ullage claims and resolve
- Remain compliant with ullage and HMRC criteria
Requirements:
- Demonstrable knowledge of brewing process is desirable
- Beer dispense equipment knowledge, NCCSIM Standard or similar
- Strong organisational skills and analytical approach
- Conscientious professional with a strong commitment to safety and service
- Friendly and approachable with effective communication skills
- Diligent and results-focused with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analytical skills
- UK driving license is essential
