Environmental Assessment Manager

**The Role:** This exciting opportunity involves supporting clients across various industries through the management of planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and other environmental assessments. As a key member of our Environmental Assessment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive expert advice and guidance on their environmental requirements.
**Responsibilities:**
- Development of professional knowledge and skills
- Technical assessments including desktop assessments
- Surveys and site visits as required.
- Project budgeting, programming, and invoicing.
- Management of project risks with the support of senior staff.
- Tender preparation including obtaining quotes from subcontractors and drafting of fee proposals for approval by senior staff.
- Written technical report preparation and review
- Business Development activities
- Client management and liaison
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 3 years' experience within an environmental consultancy
- Solid project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced consultancy environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of planning and environmental assessment legislations across the UK
- Desirable experience of business development activities and line management
**What We Offer:**
- Competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience
