English Teacher for Students with Special Needs

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN English Teacher to join our team at an inclusive secondary school in Hillingdon. As an SEN English Teacher, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering engaging targeted lessons that build confidence and communication skills in students with additional literacy needs.

Responsibilities- Design and deliver targeted lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with the SEN team to create dynamic lessons that encourage student engagement and foster a love for learning
- Plan and adapt the English curriculum to meet various learning needs, ensuring each student feels supported and challenged
The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN English teaching and a proven ability to adapt English curriculum content for diverse learning needs. Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs are also essential.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time permanent position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the school's experienced staff to create an enriching educational experience for students.
