About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN English Tutor to join our compassionate and dedicated team of specialists. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students with Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other language challenges.

Job Description:
  • English Support Tutor
  • Location: Central Islington
  • Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

As an SEN English Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons using creative strategies to engage students and ensure they can thrive academically. You will work closely with our team of specialists to provide personalized one-on-one support for students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality English lessons to students with special educational needs
  2. Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that support language development
  3. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience
  • Proven experience supporting students with SEN, particularly Dyslexia and ASD
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents
  • A clear DBS check
  • Legal right to work in the UK
