Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team as an Infrastructure Automation Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the UK's largest and most respected financial organisations during an exciting period of digital transformation.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining robust, secure, and efficient networks across multiple locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving automation of day-to-day tasks for the operations team, improving efficiency and reducing manual workload.

As an Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will have the chance to make a tangible impact by driving innovation and efficiency in the network domain. You will also be eligible for an extensive benefits package including 13% pension employer contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Configuration & Maintenance: Ensure robust, secure, and efficient networks across multiple locations.
  • Incident Response: Support and resolve network security incidents to maintain a secure operational environment.
  • Automation: Drive automation of day-to-day tasks for the operations team, improving efficiency and reducing manual workload.

Requirements:

  • Networking Expertise: Strong grasp of routing and switching with comfortable troubleshooting BGP.
  • Automation Proficiency: Strong scripting skills with Python or Bash along with experience in tools like Ansible or Terraform.
  • Firewall Experience: Hands-on knowledge of firewalls, preferably Fortinet.
  • Automation Mindset: Proactive approach to using automation to streamline operations.

Estimated Salary Range: 拢45,000 - 拢60,000 per annum.
