About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Wilton Community Team. As a Specialist Community Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy care to patients in their own homes, promoting health and independence.

Main Responsibilities

You will work closely with General Practices, Social Services, and other statutory and non-statutory services to meet the needs of the local population. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

  • Up-to-date community experience
  • Case management experience
  • Significant experience of working with adults
  • Working with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Leadership experience
  • Teaching experience
  • Knowledge of recruitment, selection, and appraisal systems
  • Setting and monitoring standards of care
  • Experience within a wide range of patient, client care groups

Desirable Qualifications

  • Profiling community needs and targeting identified health needs of the population
  • Evidence of innovative and flexible approach to care and the organisation of care
