About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Community Team at Wiltshire Health and Care LLP. As a Specialist Community Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy care to patients in their own homes, promoting health and independence, and reducing the effects of ill health and disability.
Main Responsibilities
You will work closely with General Practices, Social Services, and other statutory and non-statutory services to meet the needs of the local population. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be expected to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care.
Key Requirements
- Up-to-date community experience
- Case management experience
- Significant experience of working with adults
- Leadership experience
- Teaching experience
- Knowledge of recruitment, selection, and appraisal systems
- Setting and monitoring standards of care
- Experience within a wide range of patient, client care groups
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Profiling community needs and targeting identified health needs of the population
- Evidence of innovative and flexible approach to care and the organisation of care
