About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to work as a Deaf Education Specialist in a supportive and dynamic team, dedicated to providing high-quality support to deaf pupils across the borough. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping children and young people with hearing needs reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching deaf children and young people or transferrable skills and experience. You will be confident in exploring and adopting new technology and software, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you do not hold the mandatory qualification, you must have completed a statutory induction period and be willing to undertake the part-time, two-year Teacher of the Deaf training from September 2025.
