Support Staff Required for Primary School

Academics is seeking a reliable and empathetic Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across our primary school on a supply basis.

About the Role

This position entails offering individualized support to pupils with SEMH needs, accommodating their diverse needs.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to deliver cohesive support for pupils.
  • Contribute to fostering pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Maintain a harmonious and inclusive learning atmosphere.
About You

We are looking for an ideal candidate with:

  • Prior experience working with children with SEMH needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, combined with proactive, patient, and resilient traits.
  • A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated understanding of safeguarding procedures.

Estimated Salary: £27,742 - £37,495 per annum
