Teaching Assistant for SEMH Needs

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Pastoral Support Worker for Challenging Behaviour. You will work in schools to provide support to children who exhibit challenging behaviour, helping them to engage with their peers and teachers.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with classroom teachers to ensure that children are kept on task and manage their behaviour effectively. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers to enable them to teach effectively
- Provide pastoral support to children with SEMH needs
- Help children develop emotional regulation skills
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs
- Able to communicate effectively in tough situations
- Able to encourage emotional regulation in pupils
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
