Accounts Payable Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at Marlborough Highways. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining great supplier relationships by ensuring all supplier accounts are fully reconciled and payments are made on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile and process supplier statements and payments
  • Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to resolve any issues
  • Process expenses and pro-forma invoices
  • Check bank statements for expired payments and process ad-hoc payments
  • Send remittances to suppliers as required
Requirements
  • Accounts payable experience in the construction sector
  • Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Sage 200
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
