About this role

As a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital part in Armstrong Knight's finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in credit control, collections, and financial accounting.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Debt Recovery: Utilize your negotiation skills to persuade customers to settle outstanding debts in a timely manner.
  • Credit Control: Implement effective credit control measures to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
  • Financial Accounting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Key skills and qualifications for this role include:

  • Proven experience in credit control, collections, and financial accounting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAGE 50 and Syrinx.
