Job Description:

A Technical Director is required to lead a dedicated team of hydraulic modelers and engineers in West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, or Cumbria. The ideal candidate will have experience in producing and running 1D/2D hydraulic models, Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Alleviation Schemes, and Drainage Strategies on various schemes.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish best practices and drive innovation within the team.
  2. Produce and run complex hydraulic models and assessments.
  3. Provide technical support to the team and clients.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Geography, Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • Membership with CIWEM or working towards membership.
  • Strong project management skills and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools, including Autocad and QGIS.
