We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Cybersecurity Engineer to join the growing Security Operations Center (SOC) of Franklin Fitch, a reputable solutions provider. This is the first line of defense for an expanding portfolio of established clients.
All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.
The Role:
- Proactively monitor security tools (SIEM, EDR, Firewalls) to identify potential security threats.
- Provide Tier 1 & 2 Support for incoming security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Analyse incidents, performing false positive/negatives to minimize downtime and maximize system availability.
- Collaborate with vendors for product improvements and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance to ISO standards at all times, maintaining the highest level of security and integrity.
- Work closely with multiple business functions to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
The Requirements:
- Experience with EDR solutions and a strong understanding of security threat landscapes.
- Prior SOC/IT Support experience, with a proven track record of incident response and resolution.
- Understanding of Firewalls, Windows Server, and other security-related technologies.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and best practices.
