The Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our IT Help Desk team, providing technical support to our employees across multiple sites. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing first and second-line technical support to employees via phone and remote control technologies
  • Recording, monitoring, and following up on support calls to ensure issues are resolved promptly and accurately
  • Identifying and outsourcing issues that require third-party resolution
  • Participating in PC, server, and network update and implementation projects

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support to employees across multiple sites
  • Working collaboratively with the IT team to resolve technical issues
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of PCs, Microsoft products, and TCP/IP networking concepts
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a telephone-based support team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of PCs, Microsoft products, and TCP/IP networking concepts
  • A numerate degree or equivalent qualification
