SEN Teaching Assistant

Coba Education Ltd is currently seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join our team in various primary schools across Northampton and Milton Keynes.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to succeed in their learning. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with SEN teachers to provide tailored support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities- Support students with SEN in the classroom as directed by SEN teachers
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation, ensuring that students receive targeted support
- Monitor student progress and report any concerns to SEN teachers
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in teaching assistance or a related field
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with Autism/ASD, EBSD, SLD, and PMLD
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use positive reinforcement techniques to manage behavior difficulties
We offer a competitive daily rate of pay (£100-£120 per day), paid every Friday one week in arrears. Additionally, you will receive a £100 voucher of your choice if you recommend a friend to work with Coba Education Ltd.
