At Exemplar Health Care, we offer an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Unit Manager to join our team at our Otterburn care home in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nursing and care colleagues, driving quality, and maintaining high standards of care on their unit.

This is a rewarding role that requires a Registered Nurse with experience in management or supervision, who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care.

The estimated salary for this position is £23.85 per hour, which includes excellent benefits such as supervision, peer support, learning opportunities, and career prospects.

About the Role

  • Lead by example, delivering hands-on nursing care to individuals living on your designated unit.
  • Manage the clinical elements and risks of your unit, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication.

About You

  • You have a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.
  • You possess post-registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications.

We are committed to providing the best care and support to all our Service Users, with an average ratio of 5 Support Workers to every Nurse.
