BANK Ward Clerk Position at The Harborne Hospital

We are looking for an experienced Ward Clerk to join our team based at The Harborne Hospital to provide administrative support and ensure a high-quality service for clients.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with computers.

This is a bank position offering flexibility to work various shifts as required by the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Meet and greet patients, visitors, consultants, and staff while maintaining world-class standards.
  2. Respond to telephone enquiries and refer them when necessary.
  3. Arrange bookings for consultant appointments and clinical investigations.
  4. Register patients and input charges into the computer system.
  5. Provide administrative assistance to the Unit Manager and Sisters, and occasionally work on other units in their absence.
  6. Take minutes, prepare meeting agendas, and draft meeting minutes.
Requirements:
  1. Prior experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Proficiency with computers.
