Medical Information Specialist Opportunity
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we're seeking a skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our Medical Communications department. As a Medical Information Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing accurate and non-promotional information to healthcare professionals and patients about our clients' medicinal products or devices.
A Day in the Life:
- Respond to medical information enquiries through various communication channels and document them in the appropriate database.
- Triage and respond to medical enquiries using client-approved resources.
- Identify, capture, report, and follow up on adverse events and product complaints in compliance with established timelines and organizational, client, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain and demonstrate advanced knowledge of project and corporate policies and procedures.
- Attend team and client meetings.
- Perform assigned peer quality reviews.
- Perform other ad-hoc activities according to PPD and client procedures.
Requirements:
- A degree in a medical-related field or life science degree (Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Biology).
- Fluency in German verbal and written.
- Great communication skills in English.
