Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Health Records & Scanning Bureau department, ensuring a high-quality records management service to all patients seen in the Trust. This includes managing and leading the Health Record and Scanning Bureau team, including work allocation, checking, and evaluation of work, and identifying training needs.

Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensure all key performance indicators in remit are met in line with the Trust's Record Management Policies.
  • Directly line manage the 2 Casenote Library Team Leaders and oversee management of the Health Records & Scanning Bureau team.
  • Implement and expand the HDFT Scanning Bureau.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in the management of staff.
  • Significant experience of change management and service improvement.
  • Experience of managing a Health Records Team.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Project Management Qualification.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of the NHS Records Management Code of Practice and GDPR Compliance regulations.
  • An in-depth understanding of Project Management processes, techniques, and documentation.
  • Ability to consider complex data or information and produce detailed meaningful analysis, and option appraisal.
